The Svetlana factory, located in St Petersburg (Leningrad before 1991) seems to have been the main source of Russian built chess computers, though details of a number of models have yet to emerge. It was there that the all-Russian Elektronika series of tabletop chess computers were made. More of these are now filtering out into Western Europe via Ebay but still in 2015 all three can be described as rare, and the first of the series the Elektronika IM-01 will probably remain very rare. The Elektronika Chess Partner IM-29 is also very rare being a Mattel Computer Chess copy. These are the Elektronikas in my collection :-
