One of the strongest programs ever installed in a dedicated chess computer with one of the finest boards ever produced.
A special combination.

Genius 68030 London is currently rated at 2315 Elo on the Wiki active list. The only widely available chess computer with a higher rating is the Tasc R30. Again only the Tasc R30 and the Bavaria have built-in individual piece recognition. So we are looking at one of the finest chess computers ever made.

In the UK I do not believe I ever saw an advertisement or price for the Bavaria board. These modules in an Exclusive board were available at a price of £1395 in the mid 1990s. Special ordering of a Bavaria board would have taken the price up to £2000 or more.

Which is why this is a rare chess computer.
