A sweet little chess computer. The wooden board only measures 16cm square.
The computer unit is exactly the same as for the normal plastic Solo (see below).
Its play is weak, Wiki has it at 948 Elo.

Whatever the retail price of the Deluxe Z it must have been too much because you see very few of these little machines in collections or on Ebay, to the extent that it borders on the very rare. A statement usually followed by a rash of sightings on Ebay.
