Scisys Leonardo Maestro 2 25 x 25

SOLD

Scisys Leonardo Maestro Module

This is, I think, a 6MHz A program module. The manual is dated 1986 which would indicate that it is an early module. The sticker on the chip says 6A. Selective Search now has the 6MHz A Maestro at 1811 Elo.

The module is fully working, and can be used in a Leonardo or Renaissance. The specification is a 6502 processor, 40 KB ROM and 8 KB RAM. It adds a 36,000 ply opening book (KSO) and 24 extra levels, as well as an improvement to the basic program. It comes with a copy of the manual ( in English, German or Dutch)

Saitek Renaissance

Many would agree that the Saitek Renaissance is one of the most attractive of tournament sized auto sensory chess computers. Its clean lines and attractive veneers make it very pleasing to the eye. The four leds per square, lcd chessboard and masses of features also make it a pleasure to play chess with. It runs on 4 C type batteries or mains power.

This chess computer is in full working order. It is also in good cosmetic condition as can be seen from the photographs. Just a few minor bumps and scratches from normal use. One bump on the corner of the keypad/module cover. No lightspots.

This Renaissance comes with the Standard Program, set of original pieces, power supply and manual copy (several languages available). All as shown on the photos. The standard program has a rating of 1514 Elo (Wiki). Stronger modules can be obtained for it including various Maestro and Analyst modules, and the Brute Force module (2018 Elo).

Conchess Ambassador

The Conchess Ambassador was one of the earliest auto sensory chess computers made, dating from 1982. The largest Conchess is the Monarch, the smallest the Escorter. The Ambassador stands in between them, having a 30 x 30 cm chessboard, which is a little smaller than a Mephisto Exclusive. The Conchess programmer was Ulf Rathsman, also responsible for the ubiquitous Mephisto MM II module program.

This Ambassador is in full working order with all leds, reed switches and buttons functioning correctly. It is also in very good cosmetic condition as can be seen from the photographs.

It comes with the Standard Program cartridge, set of original pieces (one non original black knight), manual, box and styrofoam inserts. No power supply. The Standard cartridge has a rating of 1426 Elo (Selective Search).
